THE LIQUID FACELIFT

In the past, surgeons have solved the ongoing problem of sagging skin and wrinkles with traditional facelifts that are invasive and may result in a pulled look. Today we have learned that the appearance of sagging skin, wrinkles, and folds is the result of loss of structure and volume as well as collagen in the skin. These signs of aging can be treated successfully with a combination of injectable products such as Sculptra, neuromodulators, (BOTOX) and facial fillers. These products can successfully lift the nasal labial folds, create a brow lift, fill in volume loss, and sharpen the jaw line. The use of these treatments as an alternative to surgical facelifts is known as the liquid facelift.

The key to getting the most natural results with these injections is to find an expert injector who has extensive experience using these products and understands how best to combine them to help you achieve a natural, long-lasting result. As physician trainers for the manufacturers of major injectable products such as Allergan and Merz, Dr.Eviatar and and his team have been recognized numerous times in the press for their expertise in refined injection techniques that lift and contour the aging face. Our injectors customize their approach to each patient in order to restore balance, volume, and an overall more youthful appearence.

To ensure a comfortable treatment, topical anesthetic is applied to the area to be injected, and the material is mixed with anesthetic solution. All injectables are administered with a very fine needle. The most common side effects include mild bruising and swelling at the injection site. On a rare occasion, lumps can form in the treated area and are corrected with massage or further injections. More serious complications, while possible, are extremely rare. There is minimal downtime and mild bruising and swelling can usually be concealed with makeup. Many patients return to work right after treatment.

These procedures can last up to 2 years, depending on which agents are used and how the body absorbs the filler material. Commonly a skincare regimen is recommended to help maintain youthful looking skin and optimize results.

Since these procedures are cosmetic, they are not covered by health plans. However, we do offer complimentary evaluations and interest free financing for up to 12 months to make them affordable.

THE LIQUID EYELIFT

The liquid eyelift is a similar procedure that can be an alternative to cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) for some patients. Our expert injectors use a combination of dermal fillers such as Radiesse, Voluma, and Restylane in the cheek and eye area in what is called a  “sandwich” technique. Our experts inject a dermal filler such as Radiesse or Voluma deep around the orbital bone to lift the tissue, while Restylane is then injected into the tear trough to improve lower eyelid hollows and eye bags.  This approach lifts the cheeks, softens the fine lines, and improves the appearence of under eye bags.
